Though my makeup collection is full of an assortment of coloured MAC eyeshadows, I'm not really big on actually using them.
Instead, I tend to stick to my favourite eye look of all time; black liquid eyeliner flicked out at the corner with a neutral shadow on the lid and a dark brown shadow in the crease. To top it off, I fill in my brows with Stud eyebrow pencil from MAC and use a little concealer on a brush to clean them up and keep them looking sharp.
This look is classic and timeless. It has been championed by the famously glamorous women of 1950's Hollywood, such as Marilyn Monroe, and it remains popular today with stars like Megan Fox and Lana Del Rey rocking it.
Keep it simple if you are wearing it during the day, but feel free to jazz it up for an evening look with a hint of gold, or maybe some sparkle, as pictured below.
