Yellow Lingerie

(image via http://nyheter24.se/modette/angelicablick/)

Isn't this just a slice of happiness?

"Yes!" I hear you cry.

In other, non-related, news: my keyboard has switched keys around. The button that I'd click for inverted commas has now changed to the @ key and vice versa. What in the hell?! How do I fix this?

If anyone knows, I will send you a years supply of my precious love via the airwaves.

A Moment of Silence

Last night at 11:08pm Troy Davis was put to death by lethal injection in Georgia, USA for crime he may not have committed.

The justice system was put in place to ensure that those who commit crimes are punished. It is supposed to be proved, beyond reasonable doubt, that the person standing trail for the crime is guilty. This did not happen with Troy Davis.

What is done cannot be undone, so I send love out to the family of Troy Davis and hope that what happened last night is never repeated.

RIP Troy Davis.

Two & Three Finger Rings

Gold Double Finger Cross Ring

Plain Gold Triple Finger Ring

Gold Double Finger "LOVE" Ring

I'm selling these two and three finger rings on eBay. I have a huge collection of rings, most of which are still unworn with the labels on, and I decided it's time to let them go. The first two rings are from Urban Outfitters and the third is from ASOS.

I hope these babies can go to someone who will actually wear them, unlike me! I have some more that I'll probably put up at a later date.

DIARY; one

This is probably the most impersonal blog in all existence, so to rectify this I decided to add diary posts. These posts will consist of OOTD's (once I have the means to take the pictures for them) and just random yapping from moi.

I'm not certain what exactly I'm going to talk about... I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

*Clears throat*

One is meant to be attending salsa tonight but that may not occur due to how much of an ordeal getting dressed seems like right now. For the record; I'm not lazy, I'm just constantly exhausted for no logical reason. Actually, there is a logical reason that is probably anaemia, but my life-threatening phobia of needles means I haven't been tested for it.

Can you die of anaemia?

Anyway, this weekend I'm off to the other side of London to visit my dear Father. Since its eight thousand miles away, and my iPod earphones have broken, its likely I'll have lost my mind by the time me and my bright pink suitcase (which belongs to my Mother, I hate pink!) arrive in Purley. I'm not sure its wise to put my sanity under such strain...

Ta ta for now, I'm off to go and procrastinate about things I should be doing.

Ciao!

p.s Yesterday I left my house (for once) and I'm pretty sure people thought I was a witch... Because I looked like one. A lot.

p.p.s Office are selling Jeffrey Campbells.

p.p.p.s ...I can't remember what I was going to write.

p.p.p.p.s I remembered; I have a new header and its Alice Dellal. Do you like it? The last one of Natasha Poly was such bad quality that I felt like gouging my eyes out every time I saw it. Eugh. You poor things, you had to look at it every time you came on my blog. Did you cover it with one hand while quickly scrolling down with the other to save yourself from the excruciating pain? I bet you did. I would. I don't blame you.

I met Alice Dellal once; she was really nice and polite. Not very tall, though.

What does "p.s" actually mean?

I swear, I'm going now.

Procrastination, here I come!

Natasha Poly

I had the pleasure of meeting this gorgeous supermodel a couple of years ago in London. To my delight, she was very polite and down to earth, though she didn't say much. When she did speak, she had a gloriously low voice and an accent.

Despite popular belief, not all models are stick thin. Natasha was, of course, very slender but she didn't look unhealthy in the slightest. Her slim frame was perfectly suited to her above average height.

I liked Natasha Poly before meeting her, and after getting to see her face to face I like her even more!

Thankfully, every model I've met has been lovely (Naomi Campbell, Daria Werbowy, Alice Dellal, Catherine McNeil, Jourdan Dunn etc), I am pleased to say that Natasha can be added to that list.

London's Koolin'

As a Londoner to the core, born and raised north of the Thames, I have a natural affinity for all things different. A rebellious and revolutionary attitude is deeply engrained in the mind of  fast-paced city slickers like us. The conquer-it-all mindset of people like Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Helena Bonham Carter and the late great Alexander McQueen did not come about by chance, it's in our DNA. We believe that nothing is impossible and originality always triumphs, a belief which is proven time and time again.

Us folks that represent the big LDN are known for being unfriendly, but it's not the case. In a city like London, everyone is going somewhere, 24/7. Hardly anyone has time for taking a stroll, or standing on the street to take the world in. The word 'busy' personifies our entire existence.

Through this blog I'd like to take you into the mind, heart and soul of a person who knows this lifestyle, this mentality, like the back of their hand. I want to show you how exactly living among such diversity has shaped my tastes, my likes and dislikes, and has formed my go-getter attitude to life.

Please don't get confused; this is not a blog about London, nor is it strictly about those who hail from this wonderous land. Instead this is an insight into all of  my influences and inspirations worldwide.

Enjoy.

p.s Excuse the Kardashian-esque play on the letter K, but eh, it fits.
