Ryan Gosling: King of the Red Carpet

I have decided to personally crown Mr Ryan Gosling as the King of the Red Carpet.

Since I am one of few that has never seen The Notebook, though I knew who Ryan Gosling was, I was not aware of how talented he was until I watched the incredible film Drive a few days ago.

Not only is he a fantastic actor, charming and funny, he can wear the hell out of a suit too. He isn't afraid of texture or colour, which is so refreshing as so many guys are terrified to take a risk.

Unbeknown to many, I love Men's fashion. Not the everyday clothes, but the suits and tuxedos. I adore a well fitting suit. I think it stems from my love of the Old Hollywood look.

Anyway, here are a few of my personal favourites:

Suit by Gucci

Suit is custom made by Ferragamo

Suit by Burberry

Suit by Gucci

Suit is custom made by Balenciaga

Suit is custom made by Ferragamo, shirt with pearl buttons by Lanvin and Velvet Bow Tie by Hugo Boss

If you haven't already, be sure to go and see Drive. It honestly is amazing!

p.s Shout out to Ryan for being a Scorpio!

James Morrison - I Won't Let You Go

Words cannot describe how much I love this song. It's my actual obsession.

I've loved James Morrison since the second he stepped onto the scene. His first two singles You Give Me Something and Wonderful World are included in my list of my favourite songs of all time. I didn't think James could top them, but he has with this gorgeous new single from his new album The Awakening.

I Won't Let You Go is brilliantly written, incredibly sung and best of all it feels raw and honest. In my eyes, James Morrison is the best thing to have come out of the UK in many years.

Superbly talented.

Fantastic.

The Many Faces of Lindsay Lohan

I have a special affinity for Lindsay Lohan and I have absolutely no clue why. I don't particularly like her work, I'm not a party girl so we can't high-five on that one and I don't even really know much about her as a person. It's all very strange.

Absolutely outstanding!

Chris' talent is undeniable and I'm glad he got to showcase it at this years VMA Awards. As a long time Chris Brown fan, its moments like this that make me proud.

I love Kanye West, too. Lovely to see him showing his support!

The Fox Does Old Hollywood Glamour

Though this was a few years ago, this still remains one of my favourite looks from Megan Fox.

The dress, the hair, the simple makeup; she looks glorious.

Speaking of Megan... I went to see Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon, or whatever, a few weeks ago and was severely disappointed by Fox's replacement. I also wasn't impressed with the cheap shot made at Megan when the little robots refer to her character as "mean". Low blow, Bay.

Shia and Megan's chemistry was a lot of what made the Transformers films work and without the latter, it didn't feel as special. Megan has been trashed for her acting skills but Rosie Huntington-Whitely was completely unwatchable on screen and the forced chemistry between her and Shia's characters literally made me cringe throughout the entire film.

I'd rather die than see another movie with Rosie in it. It was too much of an ordeal for me to willingly put myself through it again. Unless Michael Bay changes the lead "actress" in the next installment; he's lost a viewer.

Oh, also; the Transformers need to work on their diction. I can't... I can't hear them.

Aaliyah: We Need A Resolution

We Need A Resolution is by far my favourite video by Aaliyah, she had a hint of mystery to her and it is really highlighted in it. Also, the makeup and styling is just glorious here!

In Loving Memory of Aaliyah

Today marks the 10th anniversary of Aaliyah Dana Haughton's death. The multi-talented star died in a plane crash after filming the video for her song Rock The Boat.

Aaliyah was known for her tender vocals and laid back vibe. She influenced a generation by singing sweetly over heavy Timbaland-produced beats. Bandana's, shades, crop tops and side-swept bangs were signature to Aaliyah's tomboy style and the look is still replicated by many artists and fans alike today.

Like many others, I still remember exactly where I was when I heard the news of her passing. I clearly recall sitting in the home of a family member and being shocked and confused when hearing that the beautiful, softly spoken singer had died.

Aaliyah's songs are still as relevant today as they were the day they were released. Though its been ten years, Aaliyah still lives on in our hearts and on our iPods.

Rest in peace, Babygirl.

Kim Kardashian tied the knot with her new love Kris Humphries in LA this past weekend.

A star studded guestlist included Lindsay Lohan, Ciara and Demi Lovato. Justin Bieber was invited but skipped the ceremony to be with his girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Humphries!
